An example of this the praise Legal Forum” where lawyers,NGOs and corporates discussed about how they can effectively partner for CSR. with corporates on CSR with corporates such as Sutherland Global Services
Lakes, Beaches, and River Rescue
Around 650 waterbodies existed in the chennai region alone a decade ago. At present only a fraction remain. Praise foundation in partnership with like-mined organizations have organized various water body clean up’s and restoration programs. one of these events was the inside out cleaning of the covelong Beach point where volunteers and divers collected over 480 kgs of trash from the shore as well as the water in an hour.
Entrepreneurship Training and Development of Women in Mevalur Kuppam Village.
The aim of the project is to the enhance skils and knowledge of rural women by providing entrepreneurship training at Mevalur kupaam and kristhu kandigai villages at sriperambathur, Chennai. This is done by addressing accessibility issues and knowledge gaps through appropriate behaviour change, communication strategies and technological interventions.
Nutrition support for malnourished children
Praise foundation is currently supporting 160 children by providing them with a supplimentary millet drink for breakfast and monitoring their progress over a year. these children are either orphans or belong to a single parent family. they also fall below the poverty threshold in india.we are able to do this in partnership with our NGO called ACTS who is supporting their education through their school called Nirmala Vidyalaya at Bangalore.
